WHAT'S RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR MEMORY LAPSE?

Did you ever walk into a room with some purpose in mind only to completely forget what that purpose was? It turns out doors themselves are to blame for these strange memory lapses. Psychologists at the University of Notre Dame have discovered that passing through a doorway triggers what's known as an "event boundary" in the mind, separating one set of thoughts and memories from the next. Your brain files away the thoughts you had in the previous room and prepares a blank slate for the new locale. It's not aging. It's the damn door! Thank goodness for studies like this. PS.  And, thank you, Psychologists from Notre Dame Uni, for this concept of an "event boundary".  I would, however, suggest that there is more...... This is  an 'energy shift'!   Very different energy fields (the vibrations) in each of the rooms could momentarily trigger a memory lapse.  Once one adapts to the new energy field, memory is restored.   Age, my friends, has little to do with this........unless, of course, you are loosing your memory...   If you enjoyed this tidbit of information please heart this post and share it with your friends. Sangeeta - I can't tell you how relieved I was when I read this (and giggled over it) a year ago.... I was beginning to think it was advancing age (even though I knew better). So I jokingly sent it to everyone I know and said "this is my new excuse and I'm sticking to it".... made me feel so much better. LOL -- I'm thinking it's in part due to the fact that we just aren't "there" (aka, 3D) anymore, and so it's harder to hold onto thoughts of "I need to" "I should" "I wonder where I put...." -- all those pesky attachments to illusionary statements and "stuff" :D

I dont feel its anything to do with DOOR at all :-) psychologists and scientists on earth are bound to the Laws of Physics of the third dimension. Metaphysics explains that this loss of memory is being experienced by all age groups, in fact it has nothing to do with age, its our body changes that we are undergoing with our quantum evolutionary jump into ascending out of duality and into the higher consciousness of unity and oneness, the non-dual state. Its a symptom of the body that is unusually changing and integrating higher energies. Memory loss is only one small aspect of all the symptoms we are facing. Esp since Dec 21st the energies have been too powerful to handle, dizziness and even nausea is fast becoming a common regular trait :-)

I remember (yes, I DO remember "some" things!) this when it was published - a year (or more?) ago.... and it made me feel so much better. That being said, I KNOW there are different energies in my apartment. Each room has its own personality, its own energy. And it's the thing I dislike about living in space in which so many other people ahve left energetic imprints. Yesterday, I rearranged things in my bedroom, and it's lighter, happier, and so I am gradually working on the rest of it. I hadn't thought about the different energetic levels in each room!
