A short excerpt from my second book still to be published.
After all the tension and strain of the past few weeks I decided to treat myself to a pampering, booking myself in for a facial cleansing and massage. The music and massage were so relaxing that I soon drifted off in meditation, finding myself in a mountain retreat. It was the same scenario of pampering but instead I was outside on a terrace, looking across at great towering mountains enveloped in a fine swirling mist. From out of this mist a face drew close to mine and I recognised Sayuri, a young geisha who has been one of my guides for many years. Clouds of purple engulfed me and I could feel tears trickling down my cheeks. There appeared next to her, a young oriental man who was looking at me quite intently. During the treatment, Sayuri drew even closer until we became as one, and again tears slid down my face in complete and utter contentment.
This week I was very excited to learn that a Tibetan, Buddhist Master - Lama Khenpo Rinpoche, was visiting this country to share his teachings. I was lucky enough to be able to attend one such meeting yesterday, and felt honoured to meet him. Lama Khenpo has established the Siddhartha foundation school, located near Kathmandu, which is for students from extremely poor backgrounds, many of who are orphans. His visits to England and Wales help to raise funds, providing refuge and shelter for some of the poorest children in the Himalayan regions of Nepal. As I sat listening, I remembered the vision where I had visited a monastery high in the mountains, and a more recent vision with my guide Sayuri, accompanied by an oriental gentleman who very much resembled Lama Khenpo.
While hanging out my washing today, I heard the call of three red kites overhead. I stood watching as they circled the valley, swooping and gliding on the thermal currents with the sun’s rays catching their golden wings. Later in the week, while in pensive mood, I cast my gaze upwards to see three white swans flying overhead. I know these are signs to reassure me that all is as it should be!
Restitution is at hand as we plot our way across the universe. We surrender as resistance would only hamper proceedings and a noncommittal attitude has incensed a population living on their wits. We sanitise all forms of regret, displacing tendencies to prevaricate at the drop of a hat, and we impinge on a society that has run roughshod over the weak and vulnerable. We are indebted to your services and beg you to consider alternative solutions to your present impasse. We have detected a war faring anarchy that has swamped a nation in bloody turmoil; regrettably we have not seen the last of this as many factions have risen to the surface, outlining their plans of action!
I’m wondering if they are referring to the recent demonstrations in Burma, which ended in the massacre of thousands of Buddhist monks!
Undeniably, it is a hard time for those who stand to be counted, and we mercifully release those souls who suffer at the hands of injustice! We take back the image of Light, ready to make our grand entrance, forecasting a time of peace and majesty beyond all human comprehension. We relive our time on Earth when all shall bathe in this Light and we shall be proud to call ourselves members of the human race! We deliberately set ourselves a goal to become the first civilization that has discovered what we have always known - that we are not alone! We deliberately by-pass unnecessary connections and take you to a revolutionary and pivotal moment in time.
