Feeling very insecure

I am thinking my smoking habit and once in a while drinking will hold me back from ascending.  I wish to be part of the new earth.  I must say I used to smoke and drink more but will I be able to stop in time.  I feel as if I'm running out of time.

Thank you Beth! Definitely not a binge drinker it's a social drink here and there. ;) I've decreased my intake drastically and I am very proud of myself and so happy I was brave enough to post this for the feedback I've gotten has helped me release the fear I had. Thank you all once again. Love you all! ;)

There is no evidence that smoking will have any effect on Ascension, however the drinking of alcohol may slow down your astral body as well as your body overall. If you are really concerned, avoid the alcohol and especially drunkenness which is going to affect your consciousness. Instead, burn light sandlewood incense I strongly recommend the Morning Star sandalwood stick incense, very calming yet heightens awareness.

As for smoking, we will lose our cravings to smoke and overeat in the next dimension, or at least these cravings will dramatically decrease making it easier to cut back then, if you dont do it now. Focus on eliminating the alcohol completely if you are a binge drinker, use sparingly if you are not.

That is my take on things.
