What does the former head of the FAA, a NASA astronaut, a U.S. Air Force watch commander from a nuclear missle silo in South Dakota, the former governor of the State of Arizona, the former British Minister of Defense and an Iranian fighter pilot all have in common?

They've all seen things in the sky that they cannot explain and they've all come forward to talk about it at great risk to their reputations and perhaps even their personal safety.

I hadn't intended to post this one today, i was saving it as a draft and hit the wrong button on my personal blog and it went out by accident. I chalked it up to synchronicity and decided to share it with you anyway.

I felt that this video link I've included below needed a lot more set up than I have had time to figure out. I first saw it, or perhaps it was the second version from 2008, (this one is the first such event and I believe the best introduction, done in 2001) on YouTube maybe a year or two ago after seeing a few clips of the 2008 Disclosure Project event featured on CNN and not really believing what it was that I was hearing as it was just simply so incredible and coming from such credible sources, much less the fact that the news report on the event came and went in a single 1 minute news item... an afterthought. Poof and gone like a UFO in the night.

So, I was pleased to have found the entire event online and I watched it. I even went so far as to independently look up many of the speakers to see what their real credentials were and what they'd said about their experiences during other interviews. Since then I've even met in person one of the speakers, Former Air Force Capt. Robert Salas.

Some of the speakers, all talking about their own encounters with UFO's while in high ranking positions such as the FAA, the Government, military, commercial aviation and more, from various different countries, is compelling due to the extreme stress they're putting their careers under in coming forward as well as the consistency of their stories over the years.

There were one or two, one especially, amongst the group featured in the video, who's story I personally don't buy after seeing other less credible interviews they've given where facts drift and don't jibe with what is said here, that's based on a couple hours spent surfing around the internet for them.

As with any subject, there are those that are more credible than others and it's important that we don't buy into the whole hog even as we don't throw the baby out with the bathwater either.

I've found that there are people out on the net that will intentionally put out outlandish stories, videos and whatnot that are easily disproven simply to ridicule the whole idea for their own ends.

Take the Pheonix Lights event in 1998. There was a massive sighting of a UFO a mile wide by thousands of Arizona residents. There are two versions of footage floating around. The second version is easily identifiable as flares floating to the ground. That's because about an hour or two after the actual event, A 10 Warthogs on "manuevers" dropped those flares over Pheonix. Is that an accidental coincidence, or an attempt to provide a smoke screen? I don't know, but it's important to discern so that we do not get caught with the hog instead of the baby.

So, as always, truth is something that you need to discover for yourself and I don't advise you to give your power away to anyone, especially not the little green men landing in your backyard after an evening of hard drinkin' at the local pub.

Just think though... what if even one of the credible people standing on the stage in that video has a story that is accurate or completely unexplainable. It is world changing to say the least.

A group of credible professionals, all willing to go before congress to testify under oath.. regardless of what you may believe, never before has such a group come forward.

Be prepared to question your reality. This video below is a must see. Yes, it is long.. and extremely informative and enlightening. It's two hours of your time, so grab some popcorn and stay in your jammies this Sunday and give ye ol' saucer a whirl... if you dare.

We're at a fork in the road, which way will we go?

Okay let's face it. We can't sit here anymore. It's not the time to sit down on the fence and scratch our heads. It's time to pick a path and walk it. It's time to figure out who we are, what we're about and what we can do about it.

Right now.

It is human…

We're at a fork in the road, which way will we go?

Okay let's face it. We can't sit here anymore. It's not the time to sit down on the fence and scratch our heads. It's time to pick a path and walk it. It's time to figure out who we are, what we're about and what we can do about it.

Right now.

It is human to sit there and ponder, to feel useless and clueless and victimized whilst we wait for someone else to walk down the path and tell us which way is the best way to go from here.

Besides, we can't see that far ahead, and everybody back there says we're lost without hope. How could we possibly walk?

Maybe the cable news will know, or your local congressman, or Dear Abby...

How about you figure it out yourself? That's the test. The times can change, but can you?

Only you know what's true for you no matter what the peanut gallery says. There is no wrong path, the only path that is wrong is the one where we sit paralyzed in fear at the possibilities of change. Nothing ever got done by being safe, by waiting and seeing, by sticking proverbial head in the proverbial sand.

What's true to you? You'll only find out if you walk, with an open heart.

I created this project because I felt that there was something in the air, a new vibration to be explored, a shift in global understanding of what it means to live life, to find potential, to become our first choice lives though the power of conscious creation.

There is a shift upon us, that's a fact. How that goes down is entirely on you.

Be clear, the place where that shift in consciousness becomes possible does not stem from anger or bitterness or fear. Those things will always lead to more of the same even if you have the best of intentions.

Instead, true change comes from a willingness to walk a path and pick a direction from the most confident, most pure place possible. A moment of clarity, means listening to our hearts. It means standing by our convictions yet it also means that you will never create peace without until you have found it within first.

It doesn't matter what side of the political road you're on, what religious background you have, what culture you hail from, truths of the heart will always be the only true compass you have in this life.

How does it make you feel? That's the test.

The world is rapidly shrinking and the same old stories and the same old distractions designed to foul up that internal compass feel stale in comparison to the realization that we are all connected. What you do affects me and vice versa. We can both individually and collectively make a difference in the world around us.

The evidence is in front of you. Pick up a newspaper, only briefly and just long enough to flip through and see that everywhere in the world, including where you read this now, times are changing. Not because of logical thought, no, never due to that.

Logic says that change cannot happen. Logic says we're screwed so we might as well just accept our lot. Yet, what if your lot was not ever yours to accept? What if you simply accepted what you logically knew and threw out the fact that what opposed you, what held you back, could never define you and in fact was merely there to bring you into your own.

It was not logical that a single man, a fruit vendor in Tunisia, fed up with corruption could spark an Arab Spring that toppled dictators and systems of power in place for 1000 years.

It isn't logical now that in an American Autumn a lot of people of all ages and from all walks of life can camp in front of 181 city halls and create any sort of real change, if you think about it.

Don't think so much. Einstein was wrong. We are not what we think. We are WHAT WE FEEL. Feel the best possible outcome individually and the collective will follow.

Your thoughts will foul up your compass, hands down. When you feel something true you know it, and I'm not talking about your anger and fear, those are what paid pundits use to manipulate you into buying the latest thing they're trying to sell. I'm talking about when, from a centered space, you really dig down deep in your heart, and just know what FEELS true.

Anger and fear appeal to your ego and give power away. True confidence, true love, true compassion get you to an objectively powerful place that lets you see the bigger picture and allows you to define your reality instead of letting your reality define you.

Maybe sometimes camping in front of city hall simply FEELS right even if it looks like a dumb thing to do. Maybe in the big picture it is SO right that it's obvious and somebody should have thought of it long ago.

Reach deep down into your heart and find a greater connection, a larger perspective, whatever it is to you. It doesn't mean you need to camp out, it simply means you need to find out what it is that has sparked you or can spark you to create your first choice life.

Life is full of second choices. Haven't you had your fill of them?

Find that place inside that tells you, all those things you've gone through, every issue and problem, all those obstacles left to overcome... YOU ARE NOT ALONE IN THEM. You never were or will be. 100 percent of us have gone through the ringer and if you're reading this, you're still alive to come out the other side and be grateful for the tests that have made us what we are.

You are more powerful than all that. You are more powerful than anything holding you back.

Sure we can chose to live in fear, to cower, to feel hopeless and spent... or we can choose to embrace our tests and shift our minds into our hearts, find something worthy of that, and walk.

Just walk.

I challenge you to turn off your television and tune out the buzz of the media for a bit. I challenge you to find a purpose not from fear, or anger, or bitterness, but rather from love and compassion and a sincere intent. I challenge you to embrace your own power. I challenge you to live in a reality that feels true to you and as Ghandi said, be the change you want to see in the world.

I challenge you to take a step today, any step, toward living your first choice life.

And since I'm thinking of Ghandi and The Times Are A Changin', a little Bob Dylan and homemade video for your consideration.

Bashar is Arabic for “messenger of good news.”

Darryl Anka didn’t know that, the first time he heard that name in his head. Yet, as one of the most prolific channelers in modern times, with nearly 30 years of documented channellings under his belt that challenge our ideas of our own human frailty and the very nature of the universe, he continues to prove just how appropriate a name Bashar is.

What if I told you that every moment, actually billions of times each moment, you were shifting realities?

Like a strip of film, your life is going by as a series of individual frames, passing so fast they create the illusion of motion.

And with each new frame the opportunity exists, for a scene change.

The YOU of a moment ago, with that set of experiences, no longer exists, replaced now with another version of you that fits your perception of what you prefer to be.

That’s, in a nutshell, what Bashar has been trying to tell us for somewhere in the neighborhood of almost 30 years now. You’re the only one in the room. In fact, you created the room in the first place. The world doesn’t shift you, you shift it all around you.

Get it? Do you understand?

Right now, at this moment, is the end of the old world. The old world is gone. A new world is beginning and inviting you to make a choice. What will you choose?

Alright… so you know that feeling you get, when the hairs on the back of your neck stand up and you just know somebody is on to something? Moments like that transcend the why, the how, and the wherefore. Where the intel comes from matters less than what it can create if you use it. Moments like that, people like that, give you that “aha” moment when things begin to click in a way that they simply didn’t before. It is the hallmark of mastery and the purpose of human nature, to grow, to learn, the become more… you.

I put Darryl Anka and Bashar both into that rare category of mastery, and both for different reasons.

What if I told you that you can shift to the reality you prefer at any time simply by shifting your perception? You can!

I stumbled across Bashar first, when a friend sent me a video with sound clips from Bashar, which I did a blog post on called “Shift” last year and that you can find HERE. It was the first I’d heard of Bashar and that one little homemade video, maybe 3 minutes in length, resonated with me deeply. I played it several times and I referred back to it several times beyond that. It just clicked. It took what I’d known intuitively and distilled it in a way that was more digestible. For my money, that’s what Darryl and Bashar do so well. They make the woo woo into simple hard physics.

So imagine my surprise when I found out that Darryl Anka, the man behind Bashar, would be at Conscious Life Expo this last February, where I happened to be doing some coverage for my emerging TV show of Waking Universe. Despite almost missing the whole Bashar event, if not for a kind hearted usher who recognized me from an earlier event and let me in despite the capacity crowd, I could feel the energy in the room that day. It was palpable. There were several times the audience shared a collective “aha” that made several in the room smile, myself included.

I stuck around and waited to get a soundbite from Darryl to go with the channelled footage I shot. It had been announced there was another room we were supposed to go to for a post session press meet and greet, and due to my tardy entry, I didn’t quite hear where it was at. As everyone else decided to ajourn to that mysterious room, I decided to wait until Darryl actually left as well, as no doubt he’d know where he was going, right?

Wrong.

He was just as unsure where to go as I was and we spent the next half hour or so lost, walking around the conference looking for the press room, talking, getting to know each other a bit. It was, as Bashar would say, synchronicity at it’s finest.

I was surprised to learn that Darryl was a filmmaker. We share a mutual love of the craft of filmmaking. Darryl had just recently written and directed a heartfelt feature film called “Dearly Departed”, a “documentary” about the afterlife which is a must for anyone dealing with the loss of a loved one. I invited him out to the television studio where we film Waking Universe TV, and he graciously agreed to come for an interview.

What if I said that by finding your own sense of purpose, your passion, your own authentic self and then taking some action to become that self more fully, you change not only your future, but your past and the entire world you choose to inhabit as well?

Several months after our first meeting, and the interview featured above, Darryl’s “Dearly Departed” and one of my shorts were both accepted to the Action on Film Festival in L.A. My short film played ahead of his feature. When I asked him about how he became a filmmaker, Darryl replied, “I’m doing what Bashar suggests, I’m following my passion.”

That statement struck me. You’d think that being a respected channeler would be a career unto itself. Yet, as I got to know Darryl, I realized that he so perfectly manages to balance the esoteric with his daily work as a filmmaker, that Bashar fades to the background as inspiration for Darryl’s more earthly creative pursuits.

What also struck me was Darryl’s quite sane and simple take on his many years with Bashar. It’s just another aspect of who he is and something that frankly, according to him, anyone can do.

There’s no expectations, fanfare, or great expository speeches about the nature of the universe given over lunch, yet Darryl can be every bit as profound as Bashar in a way that is grounded where Bashar is out of this world, and that, is perhaps the reason they make such a great team. Darryl quietly makes the unexplainable matter of fact, almost ordinary really, while Bashar brings wonder even to the routine.

Is this some coherently schizophrenic genius or an advance greeting from a culture beyond our own planet? Who cares, it’s badass either way and just might alter your world if you let it.

Darryl says he believes Bashar is an E.T. and yet he has no way to prove it and can’t discount that all his interactions as Bashar may just be his subconscious at work. At the least Darryl’s conveying information that actually helps people deal practically with their lives and at best, Darryl’s communion with Bashar opens up a wide, wonderful universe that demonstrates we are part of a family much larger than can normally gather for Sunday brunch.

Yet Darryl doesn’t waste time analyzing what he does as Bashar. He always seems at ease with himself because he walks the walk he talks, preferring to go with the flow. His easy confidence in his actions, which he himself credits as having rubbed off from his interactions with Bashar, really have stayed with me and I’m sure many others too.

And again in Bashar’s own words, it doesn’t matter what you think, if you’re following your passion. What you choose to be true, is true to you, and that is all that counts. It’s the reality you make.

Bottom line, Darryl is a soft spoken, thoughtful individual who is as passionate about his writing and other filmmaking endeavors as he is about his work as Bashar. Both things are about conveying stories about who we are. He balances the material and the esoteric with the skill of a storyteller who’s been doing it a long time.

I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to get to know him a bit and I am anxious to see what he will bring to the world next, be it in the form of Bashar, a bold new film, or whatever else he chooses to create.

In the midst of a meditation some weeks back, an image of a spiralling vortex crossed the landscape of my mind. in the center of the vortex was a T shaped cross hair, like in some video game. When I concentrated on the T, it turned from gray to bright green. A voice in my mind's eye said, "your job is to create coherence."

I came out of the dreamlike meditation with sort of a chuckle. What was that supposed to mean? Considering I'd had my share of chaotic days at work, I supposed that description may fit.

A few days later I completely randomly stumbled across the Global Coherence Initiative. Funded by a group of deeply pocketed philanthropists worldwide, they've been quietly beginning one of the grandest experiments humankind has ever known, thanks to modern technology, ancient wisdom and a lot of hutzpa.

The find gave me an entirely different, much broader perspective on the concept of "creating coherence".

The theory behind the initiative, put forth by some of the greatest scientists, philosophers and philanthropists of our time, is that the emotions we conduct through our hearts actually affect the global field of consciousness that binds us all and can create intense personal and collective changes on the planet, hopefully for the better.

Not only are we what we think, we are able to affect the greater reality with what we feel. By making our reality more coherent inside, we somehow magically remake our outer reality to match.

Apparently the effect is greatly, greatly magnified when the vibes are put out in a group setting.

For example, recent experiments with 7000 people mediating an hour daily for a month to lower the crime rate in Seattle did so by a tremendous amount.

In reading books like "The Field", you can check out the scientific research that shows that intense mental focus, especially on a group level, does indeed create a scientifically measurable change in the world, visible through changes in social and crime patterns in a given area where focus is created, as well as in random number generators placed in science labs worldwide that change in inexplicable ways during times of mass focus like 9/11, the funeral of princess Di, and even the Oscars.

The folks behind the Global Coherence Initiative have been putting up satellites around the world to monitor the electromagnetic fields of the planet, to see how things like mass mediations focused on positive outcomes of world events change the tangible field of energy that surrounds us. What they've learned about how connected we are and how our thoughts create change already is astounding.

You can join in on this experiment by going to http://www.glcoherence.org/about-us/about.html and finding out how you can be involved. They have a wonderful website that allows you to meditate at specific times of the day with groups of people all over the earth on a specific subject. You can even see who you're meditating with via google earth if you like.

Sunday is Earth Day and there is a major mediation scheduled to send good vibes out to our Earth in order to help the planet's environment.
from www.wakinguniverse.com

In a comment to my previous post "Your Job Is To Create Coherence", my friend Susan brought up a very good point about being optimistic for the future and the fact that at times our current culture and way of life has created dogmatic ways of thinking that remove our self determined destiny from our own pervue.

Her comment and this being Earth Day, a day we should be taking more personal responsibility for our realities both personal and collective as they relate to this blue marble we hold in our hands, got me thinking about our personal power to affect the collective status quo.

It's so tempting and easy to say, "why bother" on so many occasions.

It's tempting to forget we have quite awesome personal power over our own immediate and collective environment and how much our actions can tip the balance of what happens to the planet that supports our very being.

Too often we resign ourselves to fate. We tell ourselves that problems are too big or that we must continue to do things the way they've always been done simply because... well... that's the way of things and who are we to change them.

There's an island of plastic in the middle of the Pacific the size of TEXAS, what could we ever do about that?

Seasons are so out of whack mother nature looks like it's playing pin the tail on the donkey, what could we ever do about that?

The entire Gulf of Mexico is a mixture of dead fish, chemical retardant and crude oil, what can we POSSIBLY do about that?!

Or maybe we placate ourselves by saying, "change happens slowly. I won't see things change in my lifetime, there's simply too much to do to change it."

Yet time and time again throughout history, this hypothesis has been proven wrong.

Yes, for whatever reason these days we expect change to be long and slow and arduous. Instead of looking for a cure we gladly accept a band aid and don't even bother to consider that maybe the person selling the band aid for billions may just have a reason to keep that cure seemingly farther and farther away, when in fact, all you may have to do really is just let the wound air out a bit in the light of day and you'd be good to go in no time.

Perhaps we don't realize in the Western world that we hold awesome tools of communication, connection, power and control that have never before been imagined in the history of humankind?

Don't we realize that the most powerful countries on the planet are not the ones that have the biggest armies, the highest body counts, the biggest reserves of natural resources, but instead the most libraries, the best lines of communication and commerce, the most well educated populations?

You see, propaganda was created not in dictatorships as you may think, but instead in democracies, because dictators can just hang or shoot the people they disagree with. The only way you can convince the people of a democracy that they have no power to affect great change in the world is by making them THINK they have no power. Thus the need for the propaganda machine, and all the meaningless blah that comes with.

I will tell you something I sometimes have to remind myself of and we'd both be well advised to remember it. If we're sitting somewhere comfortably over this passage, we're somewhere where we have absolute power to affect change in our reality and there's a good chance we haven't realized it yet. We're living in a modernized world where you, yes you, even all by yourself, have perhaps more resources at your disposal every day than the entire populations of some other nations right now.

You have the ability to let your voice be heard. You have the ability to research information and discern for yourself. You have the entire Library of Congress, Netflix, Youtube, the History of The World at your fingertips, a keystroke away. You are one Facebook or Twitter update from 100 friends that know 10,000 friends that know a million.

Sure, the machine will throw so much crap at you that it's information overload, hoping that will keep you as sedated as no information at all.

That should make you feel at least a bit differently about all the time you spend browsing past all the crazy cat photos your friend's post on their Facebook pages. It's comforting to exist in a sea of trivia.

Yet, imagine if everyone on your favorite social network, just for a day, decided to do just one thing for the environment. Maybe just one day everyone should pick up a piece of trash or walk somewhere instead of driving. We could all do that, right?

But, naw, that's not what I'm saying. I'm not talking about picking up trash or walking to the gym today, although that'd be great if you can do it. I'd rather challenge you to look inside yourself today and ask yourself what you really believe. I'd ask you to take responsibility for your beliefs and your world, the things you can control and can't, both inner and outer, in whatever way makes sense to you. I'd challenge you to not just throw your hands up with the usual excuses and sense of victimhood or oblivion, but instead dig deeper to connect to the most positive source you can that you can tap into that allows you to realize something can be done and that something can start within your own attitude about yourself and how you relate to the world right now, in this moment, in this reality. Now.

I challenge you to visualize a better outcome and take on a positive energy that benefits this Earth we live on, somehow, anyhow. Whether that becomes external or not is up to you, the most important part is internalizing the feeling that a better outcome for this planet and for you is possible. I don't care what you visualize. See something completely, totally... you.

Whatever you see, however you see it, will benefit the entire earth much more than the three year old coke bottle I guilt you into picking up on the roadside and which you promptly forget about again as soon as it hits the recycle bin.

The most, most important thing to remember, is YOU. ARE. NOT. ALONE. You're not operating in a void. It's not up to you to clean up the plastic island in the Pacific. It's not even up to you to sit around all day stressing over it. Yes, that's an absolute travesty and tragedy. Yet, the weight of the world isn't on your shoulders. All you have to do is start the ball, or pass the ball on, or cheer the ball, by visualizing a goal. If you can SEE the planet as healed, as better, as cleaner, if you can believe it to be possible and true, you'll find all sorts of interesting ways to make it so, one way or another.

Maybe that's magic, maybe its psychology, or maybe it's wishful thinking. But if it may work, isn't it worth looking within to try?

For Earth Day, untether yourself from the nightly news, the gossip, the blame game, whatever it may be, quietly, softly enough to close your eyes for a minute or five to look inside and imagine.

Meditate, Pray, Veg out, do whatever you do.

All it takes is one inner realization...

Nothing is written.

Yes, that's right. You heard me. There is no outcome other than the one you choose to see and create.

Whatever you think is written, is not written, unless you're the one writing it. Change isn't slow and generational and far away and hard. It can be easy. It can be fun. It can be a group activity. It is most assuredly within your own mind, spirit and soul right now waiting to be dusted off and uncovered beneath the dustbin of your daily pessimism.

That doesn't mean that everything you envision will go down just as you want it to. Oh, no, certainly not. This isn't a self help book I'm advocating either. It's about the vibe you're putting out that creates the space for something better, maybe even better than you imagine. Even as you write, the universe may do the rewrite for you. The feeling will be the outcome and mayhap the orange fairies pushing brooms across the bottom of the sea you envision in a late night contact high may turn out to be nanotech rovers developed at Cal Tech, but the world will be better off for your positive envisioning of a brighter future nonetheless.

In a movie I enjoy called “Lawrence of Arabia”, Lawrence crosses a desert deemed impossible to be crossed, thus saving a man others would say should be, in fact is "written" to be dead. By being equal to fate, Lawrence thought that he was master of his own destiny, only to eventually realize that the universe had other even greater plans. His vision had legs far beyond himself.

Thus that great line, “Nothing is written.”

As the Global Coherence Initiative I talked about i my previous post is proving, imagining change isn’t just the realm of opinion makers and politicians and celebrities. We all can tap into the field of change internally first and foremost and manifest that change both within and without. The within we can control, the without, we can only feel our way toward, which is where faith comes in.

What we think and feel about an issue matters but at the end, it becomes about faith. Controlling our thought processes is the first step to real change. Real change is a habit waiting to happen and that only occurs when we believe it and have faith to keep believing it. We make it real within first, we have to trust the rest will follow.

If this takes an ability to look beyond the rational into the realm of the starry eyed optimistic or the outright mystical and spiritual, so be it. Be an objective optimist yes, be a discerning mystic most certainly. Your truth is yours alone and you'll never be able to change your old Aunt Vera who thinks that anybody that recycles is a tree hugging hippie. We will never "fight" our way to a better, cleaner planet, but we may dream our way there.

When we get tangled in words like "fight", our focus on the negative traps us in the conflict and diffuses our momentum and energy. The phrase "turn the other cheek" takes on new meaning when you look at all the effort you'd have to spend locked in a blood feud with the guy who's dog pooped on your lawn while you could've instead been digging the lawn up in favor of a sustainable garden complete with ready made organic fertilizer.

It seems that what we observe and how we observe it actually can create a tangible effect on an outcome. In labs scientists have shown this by expecting a particle to land in a certain location and having their expectations met again and again, yet only when they're observing and expecting it.

In mass meditations expecting a lowered crime rate or some other outcome, we find statistical evidence of outcomes again and again.

Even in expecting a glass of water to taste better by sending love and gratitude to it, scientists have actually found that our intention actually can create a tangible difference not only in the taste, but in the actual structure of the water crystals themselves, which become more complex and beautiful when given the right emotional intention.

Another great line, “As above, so below.” Or, “As within, so without.” I believe that is the concept being discovered by scientists working in the field of quantum physics and other like fields, as well as the major thoughts behind some very ancient texts and the words of some very ancient and wise masters.

No matter what we choose to expect, we’ll be right every time.
