I have not understood until now, why it makes me a little uncomfortable when authors and speakers refer to "God".
The term, or name has obvious religious connections. And, I am not aware of any religion that does not promote the concept of separation, at least to some degree. Something occurred to me just now:
I was remembering being 9 years old. Sometimes I would tell people that I was 10, even though I was really 9. I was so in a hurry to be older. Now, at 53, I would not be ashamed of being 9.
