I tried another experiment tonight, I went to the top of the monument here which is about 7500 feet, to try for a shot without the influence of the city lights etc. I have a Nikon D60 with a 70-300mm lens that I used to get another shot of the New Jerusalem using the night exposure (and tripod of course). To my surprise, it seemed like a good portion of the frame was filled with the "ship" (this picture has not been cropped or enlarged) one would think I'd been taking a picture of a full moon! I would love to have some feedback from any of you on what you think!
